Radon

When the real estate market is on fire, and there are more buyers than houses, the trend in the market is to forgo inspections. If you want the house the best option is to pay overmarket and skip all inspections so you look more appealing to the sellers.

Why, though, with your biggest investment would you go in blind to what can potentially cause cancer down the road? Are you willing to put your family in a house that could potentially cause lung cancer? That’s what you’re doing when you skip a radon test.

Radon is odorless, tasteless and you would never know you had it unless you tested the home. It doesn’t discriminate with age; old homes, new homes and in between homes all can have high levels of radon. It doesn’t cause cancer to everyone that lives there, only increases chances. Is that a chance you want to take? Is that a chance you want to make for your family?

If not, the answer is simple. Get a radon test!
